Hello Lobos Want to give a THANK YOU to all our Lobo family who help support our Scholars at the AAU Las Vegas National Championship from July 6-9. The Scholars did amazing as they were part of a team that represents Kern County. The team is called Kern County All-Stars. All together 33 Kern County runners were present with 15 of them being from Lost Hills. Overall the team scored second place and came home with 71 medals, Lost Hills brought home 46 of those medals with three of our Scholars being All Nationals. Those three were Natali Gregory placing 1st place in the girls 1500 m (11 years old) with a time of 6:17, Kylie Gregory placing 1st place in girls 1500m Race Walk (9 years old) with a time of 10:58.11, and Cristian Mendez placing 1st in the boys 1500 Race Walk (12 year old) with a time of 12:30.55. We would like to Thank everyone who was able to attend and those who were cheering us on from home. We truly appreciate all the support that is given to our Scholars. I will place the results of each scholar on the bottom of the picture on how they did in their age group competition. Dear Parents, starting tomorrow we will implement a series of proactive measures to address the number of COVID-19 cases we have experienced in the last week. These measures will be in place from January 20th to February 4th. 1. Students will be placed in cohorts that will stay together for all activities and will stay in 1 classroom 2. There will be NO AFTERSCHOOL Program and NO SPORTS 3. Morning Bus Routes will run 20 minutes behind 4. Breakfast will be distributed at the end of the day to be consumed the following morning prior to coming to school
